Lappenbänder, Langbänder and S-Bänder for doors and gates are usually forged from iron due to the weight they have to bear. As artistic metalwork is very expensive in our country, we have these items manufactured abroad, which unfortunately means longer delivery times.

We also supply door hinges and door bolts for house and room doors, which we manufacture in any desired thickness and with decorative heads. It is easier and therefore cheaper for us to fit standard door hinges or door chains with decorative heads. For existing, installed door hinges and chains, we can supply slip-on sleeves with the desired decorative heads.

 

Forged long straps should be as long as possible on board doors, as they form part of the door construction. Under certain circumstances, this can be reinforced with dummy hinges on the opposite side.

When ordering, please specify how the hinges and brackets are to be attached. If forged nails or round-head screws are to be used, only drill holes are made. If pan-head screws are used, the holes are countersunk.
