Historical Interior door fittings

Historical Interior Door Fittings – Information

Until the 1930s, interior door handles were smaller than those we use today – often quite delicate in proportion. The size of a model therefore says less about the size of the door it belonged to and more about the period in which it was created.

Our collection of door fittings spans styles from the Baroque period to Postmodernism, with the majority originating from the Classicism, Historicism, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco periods of Central Europe. The door handles, backplates, and rosettes shown can also be supplied in different combinations, provided they are stylistically compatible.
